The Metro RainHat

Since Blue Chirpers are not waterproof, we had to develop a ‘RainHat’ for customers who want to mount them outside on either Barney Brackets or Pole Brackets. Here is The Answer: The Metro RainHat. It attaches directly to EITHER one of our Brackets, once you’ve installed it on your wall, or pole, and the Blue Chirper is mounted and powered-up on the Bracket. The Metro RainHat just fits completely over the entire assembly and attaches to our Brackets with 4 (supplied) washers, plastic spacers and wingnuts. The flexible, waterproof, 22AWG UF cable you should use to connect your Blue Chirper from the adjacent Electrical Box, usually mounted directly UNDER the Bracket, just goes right under either side of the Metro RainHat. A simple solution to waterproof your Blue Chirper on an outside, exposed Bracket.
